What exactly does your company do?
We provide graphic design services for books. In other words, publishers and individual authors send us their Word files (or other text files), photographs, charts, illustrations, maps, etc., and we turn them into computer files for use in the printing industry.
Do you provide text and cover design services?
Yes! We work with our clients to provide interior book body design, and we also provide cover design services. We are happy to provide a cover design based on customer requests and suggestions; many of our customers depend on our creative input for cover designs.
What type of computer files do you provide?
We provide print-ready PDFs (Portable Document Files) according to printing company specifications for use in both offset printing and print-on-demand processes.
Do you provide printing services?
We offer a print-on-demand (POD) short-run printing service. At this time we do not offer offset printing services; they are currently under evaluation. Click the link below for more information on our POD services.
Are you a publisher?
We publish books for ourselves, mostly historical reprints, and we also have a new publishing imprint for authors who desire to self-publish: Wythe-North Publishing. Click the link below for more information.
Mark S. Phillips has over 20 years graphic design experience, and over 15 years experience working in book design. A graduate of The Ohio State University, he has worked for a number of businesses in Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky, opening his first graphic design business in 1992. He maintains a network of illustrators, editors, photographers, and book marketing professions ready to assist at a moment's notice, regardless of client size or project scope.
